The position requires a excellent communication skills, organization and attention to detail. good computer and communications skills, organization with attention to detail, ability to perform work independently and to be a team player.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients and escort them to the examination room. Interviews new and existing patients to assess their needs Obtain vitals and record patients' medical history, chief complaint and pertinent medical information in our EMR system. Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician. Assist providers examine and treat patients, handing instruments and materials or performing such tasks as giving injections and removing sutures and wound care. Prepares equipment and assists physicians during physical exams and medical procedures Provides patient education Triage patient phone inquiries according to physician and/or departmental protocols and documents such actions in patients' medical records Assist in set-up and cleanup of treatment rooms Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies Represent the company in a professional manner
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or gen. equiv. Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate and/or transcripts Must be professional, personable, and share our commitment to patient care and service Able to uphold the core values of great work ethic, respect for others, excellence in service, adaptability and trustworthy. EMR systems experience
Pay Rate:
$20.00-$23.00 (Based on experience) IND2
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
