Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Receptionish/Medical Assistant to join our Neurology healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff by providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of front desk, medical procedures, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Epic training will be helpful. Must reside in Downriver area or Dearborn. Must have successfully completed a Medical Assistant training program. Newly graduated Medical Assistants are welcome to apply. No prior experience is required. On-the- job training will be provided. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the clinic setting. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Skills Proficient in medication understanding of pharmacology. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to various specialties. Familiarity with coding practices for accurate billing and documentation. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
