We foster a great staff/patient relationship where the patients ideally always see the same faces and providers at their appointments. We work with all ages newborn to the elderly. As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Currently we are seeking a Medical Assistant to predominately assist with care of both adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Arrange hospital based orders and laboratory services Check in patients and type up patients charts Assist during medical examinations/procedures Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Degree in medical assistance Ability to administer vaccinations and other Intramuscular injections Ability to utilize and preform EKG Employee Benefits Staff bonuses throughout year based on practice performance Paid Holidays The following benefits are eligible after 90 days employment Health insurance: Traditional or HSA plan.
