The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position requires a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, along with the ability to perform various clinical tasks effectively. This role will be supporting a large Urology group in greater Minneapolis. The role offers great opportunity for growth, while working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Position offers great benefits, 401k and PTO options. We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants and/or
LPN. RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine office procedures and testing in a safe and effective manner Administer catheters and lab testing to patients Patient triage, rooming and vitals. Documents all information accurately in EMR. Responds to voicemail in a timely manner.
• Identifies common and recurring needs of the patient. Keeps all clinical areas clean and properly stocked. Identifies patient education needs and provide information. Documents observations, actions and patient outcomes. Handles information with discretion and maintains confidentiality. Communicates effectively and professionally with providers, clinic director, nurse manager, co-workers and patients. Analyzes work methods to effectively organize work, make improvements and correct problems. Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program or an accredited medical assistant program. LPN or Medical Assistant Certification preferred. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Cert.
• CPR Certification preferred.
