Come work for NKC Health as a Lab Assistant in our Tiffany Springs outpatient clinic location ( 10161 N Ambassador Dr.) where you can be a part of something GREAT! Join our lab team at NKC Health, where you'll be part of a dedicated group of professionals caring for patients. Responsibilities Under the direction of Clinical Supervisors, Medical Laboratory Scientists and Lab Coordinators performs receptionist, processor, and phlebotomist duties to serve patients with compassion and empathy. Accurately register patients by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and billing information. Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages Properly label, handle, and transport specimens to the laboratory to ensure integrity and accuracy Communicate effectively with clinical departments to resolve registration or order issues. Provide courteous, professional service to the patients and families Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and hospital/clinic safety regulations at all times Experience 1-2 years phlebotomy experience•
PREFERRED
License/Certification/Education High school Diploma or Equivalent•
