Assignment of job responsibilities are delegated by the medical provider, RN, Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager or Resource Manager assigned to supervise the Care Assistant and in accordance with this job description. Responsibilities:
Provides supportive patient care. Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficient and safe operations. Performs clerical functions. Attends education programs, unit meetings and assigned committees. Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel (within own skill level).
Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience Other Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program One of the following: National Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant required upon hire BLS certification Required Upon Hire Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)- certification by National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP);
OR Pay:
$19.68 - $24.60 per hour
