Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. We are a busy patient-focused internal medicine practice committed to providing compassionate, high quality care. We are seeking a dependable organized Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-passed environment and takes pride in delivering excellent care. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems accurately, documenting patient information, medical histories, and treatment details with precision. Provide health education to patients on topics like post-procedure care, medication instructions, and wellness strategies to promote informed health decisions. Monitor patient conditions during visits, report changes promptly, and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes. Perform manual handling tasks including patient positioning, equipment setup, and specimen collection while adhering to safety protocols. Support clinic operations by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Administer injections, vaccines, and perform EKG's as appropriate. Process prescription refills and prior authorizations. Coordinate referrals and follow up care. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program is required.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
