Job Summary PainStop Spine Clinic is a premier healthcare facility focused on comprehensive spine care and preventative pain management. We deliver patient-centered treatment using advanced diagnostics and innovative care solution in a professional and compassionate environment. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical/Admin Assistant to support our Medical Provider. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with an associate's degree, strong analytical thinking, and a humble, eager-to-learn attitude. Responsibilities Assist the provider with scheduling, documentation, and patient coordination throughout the clinical day. Communicate with patients regarding appointments, follow-ups, and treatment instructions in a clear and respectful manner. Learn and accurately maintain electronic health records (EHR) and clinic documentation under guidance. Make phone calls and follow up tasks with staff and patients. Support efficient clinic flow by anticipating provider needs and ensuring timely follow-through on tasks. Handle sensitive patient information with professionalism and in accordance with HIPAA standards. Collaborate with medical team and clinical team members to solve problems and improve patient experience. Be open to training, coaching, and learning new tools and processes quickly. Able to use Artificial Intelligence software programs. Knowledgeable of Google software such as Google Docs, Sheets, Means, etc.). Quick learner with strong time management skills. Trustworthy, organized, self-motivated. Required Qualifications Able to type at least 30 WPM (a typing test will be given). Associate's degree or higher preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and an excellent ability to stay organized and stay on task. Analytical thinker who can follow processes and solve problems logically. Willingness to learn new systems (EHR, clinic procedures, medical terminology). Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude. Have high problem solving skills. Physical & Other Requirements Able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional clinic-related errands. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Willing to carry a business phone for some after-hours communication, if needed.
