Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking an Assistant Housing Manager to provide daily supervision to community living homes in Hattiesburg, MS. The Assistant Housing Manager is vital to the agency's ability to maintain operations of these homes. The ideal candidate would have residential supervisory experience or experience providing services to the intellectual and developmental disabilities population. Work hours are
M-F, 8-5
; however, some after-hours work or fill-in shifts (7a-7p) or (7p-7a) may occur to maintain staffing ratios. Previous experience in community housing preferred. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.
Requirements:
High School Diploma required with 5 years experience in behavioral healthcare required Must possess a valid MS driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Must obtain MS Class D driver's license within 2 weeks of hire Use of personal transportation needed to assist individuals in the community Ability to manage daily schedule to complete assigned tasks Ability to think independently to determine direction of work flow and work load
Responsibilities:
Oversees the supervised living homes in Forrest County. Supervises and trains staff. Organizes activities and individual participant support. Efficiently schedules staff to ensure proper coverage of homes.
