Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and assist healthcare providers. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinic workflows and positive patient experiences. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and eager to contribute to a high-quality healthcare environment that emphasizes patient service, safety, and efficiency. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision. Assist with clinical procedures, referrals, prior authorizations, triage, injections, venipunctures, labs testing, Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and updating medical records promptly. Conduct basic life support (BLS) in emergency situations to stabilize patients until further care is available. Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring compliance with protocols. Requirements Extensive knowledge of primary/urgent care and/or Internal Medicine. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to assist with various clinical procedures effectively. Proficiency in using EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding for accurate billing and record keeping. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse patient populations. Experience working in Primary Care and Urgent Care Setting Ability to assist with medication administration safely, triage, referrals, prior authorizations, EKGs, Lab test, Ear Irrigations, phone messages, refill request, and any other clinical need. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality. Join us in delivering outstanding healthcare services!
