Job Description
Overview Job Summary Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and Nurse Manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Performs direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed personnel and physician. Assists in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in a manner that is consistent with established policies and procedures. Provides for patient safety. Perfroms clerical task and related duties. Completes assigned goals. Specifications Experience Minimum Required Approved nursing or medical assistant course and/or on the job training. Preferred/Desired Education Minimum Required Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties. Preferred/Desired Training Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Special Skills Minimum Required Computer literacy. Preferred/Desired Licensure Minimum Required BLS certification within 14 days of hire date Preferred/Desired
