Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential medical and administrative support and assist in delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced foot and ankle clinic. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for X-Ray examinations and other diagnostic tests. Perform basic life support as needed in emergency situations. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding. Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical documentation. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols within the hospital setting. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Skills Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic life support techniques. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor during emergencies. Familiarity with medical procedures is a plus.
