Job Description
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required. Background in Pain, GYN, Aesthetics, exercise physiology, and nutrition is helpful. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a clinical environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient service. Must work well with others. Duties Assist healthcare professionals in various clinical tasks, including taking patient histories and vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using electronic health record systems. Experience with ECW helpful Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical and aesthetic setting. Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, diet and wellness activities Experience Knowledge of medical terminology, physical exam medication administration is essential. Experience with the Prior Authorization process desired Experience working in a clinical environment is advantageous.
