In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by rooming patients, taking vitals, medication, heart monitors and support medical staff. This role will ensure a smooth patient experience. Your expertise in medical assisting, documentation, and patient service will help us deliver top-tier healthcare experiences. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms using Electronic Health Records (EHR) E Clinical systems. Will need basic life support (BLS). Document medical information accurately in electronic health records, including ICD coding and detailed medical documentation. Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating with other healthcare providers. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols in an outpatient settings. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program or in process of obtaining within 1 year. Proven experience in medical office settings with knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and medical terminology. Hands-on experience with Cardiology is preferred but not required. Ability to perform manual vital signs measurement efficiently. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including geriatrics and inpatient care environments. Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications.
