Job Description

2 days per week ! QualDerm Partners is currently seeking a Part-Time Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Arden, NC. We are dedicated to providing exceptional skin and aesthetics wellness services including dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. Our mission is to deliver outstanding patient care and support throughout their wellness journeys. As a Part-Time Dermatology Medical Assistant, you will assist in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations during your scheduled hours. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about dermatology who prefer flexible working hours while contributing to a caring and professional environment. Responsibilities Prepare patients for clinical examination by recording vital signs and medical histories. Assist physicians during procedures and examinations, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are ready. Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen preparation accurately. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records following healthcare compliance standards. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating clinic communications during working hours. Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines. Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked appropriately. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred. Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is beneficial. Knowledge of medical terminology, especially in dermatology, preferred. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is a plus. Benefits Benefits of joining
