Bilingual Ophthalmic Medical Assistant

Fluent in Spanish/English and able to communicate and translate to Spanish speaking patients as needed Communicates to patient what to expect from medical assistant and physician Completes a detailed and accurate patient history and chief complaint Performs preliminary workup and testing Transcribes information into EMR as physician orally dictates findings Post charges and primary diagnosis into EMR Schedules follow-up appointments and testing Willing to train promising candidates
