WNC Dermatology has been in Western North Carolina for many decades. We take pride in serving the community we love and being a physician owned practice delivering excellent patient care. You will be responsible for working directly with providers and patients on a daily basis, so excellent communication skills, compassion, and dependability are essential. This role involves providing exceptional patient service, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows within a fast-paced medical environment. Important Requirement - Please Read This position could potentially includes travel to one of our satellite offices based on staffing needs. Hendersonville, Brevard or Marion Drive time is paid Mileage stipend provided Early start times are required depending on location Reliability and willingness to travel are non-negotiable for this role. Work Schedule Monday-Friday 745am-4pm (36 hour work week) ( times can vary based on clinic needs from time to time) No weekends, nights, or major holidays Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced dermatology setting Preparing patients and exam rooms for providers Scribing for the provider in our EMR system Assisting with dermatology procedures including: Biopsies, excisions, injections Wound care and post-procedure education Manage sterile and non-sterile instruments Document clinical information accurately and timely Help maintain smooth clinic flow and support team members as needed Maintaining confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards Willingness to learn & be a team player Qualifications Proven experience in medical administrative support or patient care Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology Proficiency in EMR system and documentation Ability to perform patient intake Excellent organizational and communication skills Medical office experience: 1 year preferred Preferred Skills Experience with medical records documentation Understanding of medical terminology Ability to perform a variety of tasks related to clinic operations Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Benefits 401(k) AD&D insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Disability insurance Free parking Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance On-the-job training Vacation time and PTO Employer retirement contribution This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
