In this role, you will help ensure a smooth patient experience by delivering high-quality care and maintaining efficient workflows in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities but not limited to: Greet patients, conduct intake interviews, and accurately record medical histories Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits Maintain, update, and organize medical records and insurance documentation Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures Perform phlebotomy and administer medications and immunizations as directed Prepare exam rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly cleaned and stocked Coordinate laboratory services and hospital admissions when necessary Handle billing-related tasks, including accounts receivable and payable Prepare and distribute medical correspondence, forms, and reports
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting Proficiency in phlebotomy and administering injections/vaccines Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation standards Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach Clear written and verbal communication abilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and medical practice management softwareJob Type:
