Job Description

What We Offer Novant Health Pediatrics After Hours is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant Lead! In this role, you'll be supporting both the After Hours Carmel and After Hours Poplar Tent locations.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 5:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday-Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm Week A- 20 hours Carmel and 12 hours Poplar Tent Week B- 20 hours Poplar Tent and 12 hours Carmel The role of the CMA Lead is to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population. What You'll Do In this role, you'll be responsible for the following:
Precepting New CMAs Vaccine Administration and Management Supply Ordering and Inventory Control Clinical Audits Laboratory Support Verge Entries What We're Looking For Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Certified Medical Assistant requirements:
Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants.
Registered Medical Assistant requirements:
Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists.
Experience:
Previous work in a medical setting, preferred
Licensure/Certification:
Current certification as CMA or RMA, required.
Additional Skills Required:
