We proudly provide comprehensive primary care services exclusively for adult patients ages 18 and older. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for both our patients and our team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. Position Summary The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our providers and ensuring a positive patient experience from check-in through check-out. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask efficiently. Exceptional phlebotomy skills are required for this position. Candidates should be confident performing venipuncture on patients of all ages and comfortable with difficult draws. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with accuracy and professionalism Prepare and room patients for provider visits Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies Administer injections and other treatments as directed Process laboratory specimens and maintain proper documentation Manage clinical inbox tasks, including patient messages, refill requests, and lab follow-up Process incoming prior authorizations Maintain accurate electronic medical records Clean and stock exam rooms and clinical supplies Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines Provide compassionate, professional patient care while maintaining confidentiality Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant preferred (or equivalent experience) Minimum of one to two years of Medical Assistant experience. Primary care/Internal Medicine experience is a plus Strong phlebotomy experience required Experience with electronic medical records (Athenahealth experience is a plus) Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Dependable, professional, and committed to providing outstanding patient care Benefits Competitive pay: $19.00
