Location:
1176 East Cutlar Xing Dr. Suite C, Leland, NC 28451 As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of our outpatient center. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities :
Interview patients and document basic medical history Take vitals pre/post-op and document findings in their patient chart Organize, authorize, and schedule appointments for referrals Send prescriptions electronically, by fax, or by verbally calling them in Assist during medical examinations Triage patient calls, assess the problem, consult with the physician Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Other duties as assigned
Skills :
Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems Experience with procedural assistance Strong knowledge working in a sterile field Working in a sterile field
Qualifications :
