Job Description
Overview We're looking for a Clinical Medical Assistant who enjoys patient care, values teamwork, and wants to grow in a specialty medical setting . This role supports our Neurology and Pain Management providers and plays a key part in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients with complex and chronic conditions. If you're someone who likes variety in your day, takes pride in doing things right, and wants to be part of a supportive clinical team, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Room patients and assist providers during office visits and procedures Obtain vital signs, medication lists, and medical histories Prepare patients for procedures and provide support throughout their visit Assist with in-office procedures as trained Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Educate patients on treatment plans, testing, and follow-up instructions Support our geriatric patient population with patience, professionalism, and empathy Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Work collaboratively with providers, nurses, and front-office staff to ensure smooth patient flow What We're Looking For Willingness to travel to alternate NPMC locations as needed. Prior experience in outpatient, urgent care, emergency medicine, or specialty practice is a plus — but not required for the right candidate Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused Willingness to learn neurology and pain management workflows (we provide training) Why Join Neurology & Pain Management?
