Job Description

Carolina Urology Partners, PLLC is a large, comprehensive urology group in the Carolinas. We have 27 physicians, more than 150 employees, and 10 urology clinics in convenient locations throughout the Carolinas. When you work at Carolina Urology Partners, you will work with the Top Urologists and Physician Specialists in the Southeast Region. We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant located in Mooresville, NC . This position will be responsible for assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under Physician direction.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates patient movement and transport from general waiting room to required treatment area, assisting patient as necessary while delivering chart to nursing staff Interviews patients, measures vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height; records information on patient charts Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients Drapes patients with covering and positions instruments/equipment as necessary Hands instruments/materials to Physician when necessary Cleans and sterilizes instruments in accordance to approved OSHA guidelines and procedures Inventories and orders medical supplies/materials Keys data into computer system to maintain office and patient records Acts as backup to Front Office staff when necessary
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Completion of 2-year program for Medical Assisting (Program must be AAMA Accredited) Current certification or registration as Medical Assistant preferred Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, staff members and Physicians 3-5 years clinical experience preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills We know that our people make us the best, and it shows in the superb care we deliver to each and every patient.
