QualDerm Partners is currently looking for a compassionate and skilled Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our Pinehurst, NC (PIN) team. We specialize in providing comprehensive skin and aesthetics wellness services with a focus on dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant at our Pinehurst location, you will be an essential part of the clinical team, helping to ensure excellent patient care and smooth clinical operations. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and collecting detailed medical histories. Assist physicians during clinical examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are prepared. Perform basic laboratory tests and correctly prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage effective communication in the office. Provide patient education about treatment plans, medication instructions, and skincare recommendations. Keep examination rooms tidy, organized, and stocked with necessary medical supplies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Previous experience in a medical assistant role or clinical setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to dermatology. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive health information professionally. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software is advantageous.
