Float Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)
Location:
Wake Forest/Raleigh/Durham Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00
PM Position Overview:
Join our dynamic team at a busy GI clinic as a Float Medical Assistant! We're seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to enhance our patient care across multiple locations. Your role will involve providing vital support to our healthcare team while ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Welcome and prepare patients for examination by rooming them, obtaining vital signs, and compiling comprehensive patient histories.
Clinical Assistance:
Provide support during medical procedures and exams to ensure a smooth and safe experience for patients and practitioners alike.
Referral Coordination:
Assist patients with referrals by scheduling appointments and managing pre-authorizations efficiently.
Site Flexibility:
Float between various clinic locations as needed, adapting quickly to different team environments and workflows.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant; certification as a CMA/RMA is a plus but not required. Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for providing excellent patient care. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Adaptability to work across multiple sites and environments.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
