Job Description
We are a busy and growing dermatology practice seeking an experienced, dedicated, compassionate, and team-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team. Prior dermatology experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dermatology workflows and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Room and work up patients for dermatology visits Obtain and document accurate patient histories Accurately chart and document patient information Assist providers with dermatologic procedures and treatments Prepare exam rooms and maintain an organized clinical environment Assist with biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures Provide patients with clear instructions and compassionate care Work closely with our providers and clinical team to ensure excellent patient flow and patient experience Qualifications Previous dermatology experience is required Medical Assistant experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dermatologic terminology Experience working up patients and assisting with procedures Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy practice Positive attitude and willingness to be a supportive team member EMA experience is preferred, but not required
