What We Offer Novant Health Child & Adolescent Medical Group - Waxhaw is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)!
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional Saturday coverage 8:00am-12:00pm Novant Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population. What You'll Do Job responsibilities will include the following: Room patients and prepare them for provider visits. Measure and record vital signs accurately. Administer vaccines following proper protocols. Perform blood work, including finger sticks; venipuncture is preferred but not required. Collaborate closely with the physician during patient care. Assist the RN with managing tasks in the in-basket system.What We're Looking For Education :
High School Diploma or GED, required. Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including:- CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA)
- RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
- American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA).
