Key Responsibilities:
Provide and document clinical care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. Engage in teamwork and community involvement to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. CNA I or II certification, EMT credential, or enrollment in an accredited medical program. Basic computer skills for documentation. What You'll Do Collects and records vital signs and laboratory samples following established clinical guidelines Rooms patients and prepares them for provider evaluation, ensuring comfort and accuracy of information Performs hearing and vision screenings and documents results appropriately Learns and applies basic phlebotomy skills under supervision
What We're Looking For Education :
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience :
2 year of Acute experience for CNA 1, preferred. 1 year of CNA2 or EMT, preferred. 1 year of Experience in healthcare setting or Physician Assistant or medical school student enrolled in an accredited program or gap year, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
NA I in good standing within the NA registry;
OR NA II
in good standing with NA II certification with required state; OR EMT current credential in appropriate state; OR One year clinical (medical) office experience; OR Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
