  • Winston Salem, NC QualDerm Partners is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mohs Surgery Medical Assistant to join our Winston Salem, NC team.
We are dedicated to delivering exceptional dermatological and surgical care to our patients, with a focus on skin cancer treatment and prevention. In this role, you will support Mohs surgeons by preparing patients for surgery, assisting throughout the procedures, and providing comprehensive post-operative care. You will be an integral member of our clinical team, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for Mohs surgery by collecting accurate medical histories and recording vital signs. Assist surgeons during Mohs surgical procedures by organizing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment. Provide clear post-operative instructions and support to patients to aid recovery and compliance. Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and maintained. Coordinate patient appointments and manage medical records with attention to confidentiality. Educate patients about the Mohs surgical process, addressing any questions or concerns. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Previous experience in a medical assistant role within a surgical or dermatology setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of Mohs surgery procedures, surgical instruments, and aseptic techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure positive patient interactions. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software. Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to healthcare regulations. Benefits Benefits of joining
