Schedule:
  • Four 10-hour day shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm
  • 1 rotating day off Monday-Friday
  • No evenings, weekends, on-call, or holidays Duties include:
  • Performing phlebotomy and blood collection services to patients of all ages
  • Preparing samples for pickup
  • Maintain appropriate supplies inventory
  • Charting blood draws Wage based off of education, certification, and phlebotomy experience Laboratory Assistant = No certification or previous experience required ($16.
00-25.50) Senior Laboratory Assistant = Requires active phlebotomy certification ($17.00-26.50) Pathology Technician = Bachelor's degree required in biology or related subject ($22.50-36.00) Summary Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Job Description Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
