Job Description

Dermatology and Skin Health is an expanding medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology practice seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Medical Assistant to support our offices in Londonderry, Derry, Bedford, and our newest location in Nashua, NH. Our Medical Assistants are an integral part of our team, supporting our providers while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Stocking, sanitizing, and preparing exam rooms. Rooming patients and obtaining pertinent information regarding their visit. Preparing patients and assisting providers with examinations and procedures, including biopsies, excisions, ED&Cs, light box treatments, photodynamic therapy (PDT), and suture removals. Assisting providers with cosmetic procedures, including Botox and laser treatments. Documenting patient history, medications, allergies, and other relevant information in the electronic medical record (EMR). Working collaboratively as part of a team to support an average daily patient volume of up to 30 patients. Scribing for providers using EMA. Entering templates and completing chart documentation as directed by the provider. Processing prescription refills and submitting prior authorizations. Qualifications Ability to work at all four office locations. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred, with two or more years of experience considered a plus. Dermatology experience is preferred but not required. Experience with electronic medical records; proficiency with EMA is a plus. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a professional team member. Understanding of and ability to maintain strict sterile techniques. Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and exceptional patient care. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
