  • Position Summary:
  • We are seeking a reliable, experienced
  • Medical Assistant and/or Receptionist
  • to join our team. This dual-role position includes both
  • clinical and administrative responsibilities
  • , offering a dynamic and engaging workday. Candidates must be team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk operations
  • Process referrals and prior authorizations
  • Handle medication refill requests
  • Monitor and manage medical and office supply inventory
  • Clinical Duties (if certified and qualified):
  • Room patients and record vital signs
  • Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
  • Perform in-house diagnostic testing, including:
  • EKGs
  • Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
  • INR, A1C, vision and hearing screenings
  • Conduct venipuncture and lab specimen collection
  • Report clinical findings to providers
  • Assist in coordination of patient care and follow-up
  • Qualifications:
  • Medical Assistant Certification required
  • for clinical duties
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • in a medical office setting (primary care preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
