Days | 40Hrs/Week Job Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant will support providers in a Family Medicine clinic by assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks while ensuring an efficient patient experience.Key Responsibilities:
Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document patient information accurately in the EMR. Prepare patients for provider exams, assist with minor procedures, and ensure exam rooms are stocked. Administer injections, immunizations, and perform EKGs following physician orders and clinic protocols. Review and update medical histories, medications, allergies, and other clinical documentation. Support providers with routine clinical and administrative tasks while delivering quality patient care. Float between clinic locations as needed to provide coverage and maintain smooth clinic operations. Requirements 1-2 years of current Medical Assistant experience- Required AAMA (or equivalent) Certification
- Required BLS Certification (AHA)
- Required Previous travel experience
- Highly Preferred Meditech experience
