Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Basking Ridge, NJ . The ideal candidate will assist physicians and nurses in providing high-quality patient care, manage clinical and administrative tasks efficiently, and ensure a smooth patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Record patient history, vital signs, and other important health information. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and minor procedures. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens (blood, urine, etc.). Maintain and update patient records accurately in the EMR system. Handle appointment scheduling, billing, and patient follow-ups as needed. Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict patient confidentiality. Support front-desk operations when necessary (calls, insurance verification, etc.).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Compassionate and professional attitude toward patients and staff.
