Medical Assistant - Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our physical therapy team in delivering exceptional patient care. You will play a vital role in preparing treatment areas, ensuring equipment readiness, and assisting patients throughout their therapy sessions. Responsibilities Prepare treatment areas and equipment for physical therapy sessions. Clean and sanitize rooms between patient visits. Escort patients to and from treatment areas. Observe and assist with basic exercises under the direction of a Physical Therapist (non-clinical). Maintain clinic organization and ensure patient readiness. Enhance the patient experience and support efficient patient throughput. Essential Skills Customer service expertise. Knowledge in health and wellness. Familiarity with exercise science. Interest in physical therapy. Experience or familiarity with physical therapy exercises. Background in gym setting or health. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgewater, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
