They perform patient services as requested which may require PDT, injections, suture removal, patch testing, bandage change, wound checks and other care as needed. Certification, license (s) and/or schooling is required in order to assist providers with patient care and procedures. Knowledge of healthcare rules and regulations is necessary to understand the complexity of the healthcare field. Willingness to learn and be attentive to our providers and having the ability to prioritize tasks is key to office and patient flow. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely to patients and providers.

Job Duties :
Greet patients appropriately and professionally Responsible for opening/closing of exam rooms, assuring they are properly stocked, cleaned and report when stock is low to the proper personnel. Escort patients to and from the exam rooms. Enter all patient information into the EMR system and prepare the patients for the providers, including but not limited to, merging templates when requested from provider (MD/NP/PA), patient education and assisting providers in cosmetic procedures if applicable. Complete charts daily. Photo taking as per the provider's request with the patient's approval. Help with scheduling of patients if needed. Proper use of lab equipment. Proper execution of instrument sterilization process. Filling and emptying of CRY-AC. Careful handling of liquid nitrogen. Replace and dispose of biohazard bags and sharps containers into appropriate boxes. Call patients with medical care instructions and biopsy/lab results as per the provider. Answer calls and check voicemails hourly. Comply with all policies and procedures of the practice and organization. Perform any other assignments as directed by management.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
