Edison, NJ Job Type:
Full-Time About Us North Edison Family Practice is a well-established, fast-paced primary care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a busy medical office. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Document patient history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during office visits Administer injections, vaccines, EKGs, and perform other clinical procedures within scope of practice Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection (preferred) Handle prescription refill requests Maintain accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW) Prepare and sterilize examination rooms Maintain clinical supplies and inventory Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families Assist with other clinical duties as assigned Qualifications Required Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification Minimum 1 year of experience in a primary care or family medicine practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable with excellent attendance Preferred Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) Phlebotomy experience Knowledge of insurance verification Bilingual is a plus Why Join Our Team?
