Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will support medical professionals by performing clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, X-ray assistance, EKG, and basic life support (BLS) as needed. Support physicians with medical documentation, ICD coding, and maintaining detailed medical records for compliance and quality assurance. Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-up communications, and coordinate referrals or laboratory services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to infection control protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with a strong background in medical office management and clinical procedures. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, and EMR/EHR systems. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations. Ability to multitask efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to speak Korean and English fluently.
