Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring a high level of patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical histories. Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians. Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health information. Coordinate patient flow within the clinic or urgent care setting to optimize efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and offering support throughout their visit. Collaborate with medical staff in hospital medicine settings, including inpatient care as needed. Skills Proficient in clinic operations, including coding and documentation practices. Knowledge of urgent care protocols and basic life support techniques. Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and anatomy knowledge to assist in various clinical tasks. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
