Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, height and weight.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Collect and document patient medical history and information
- Administer medications / Injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and coding
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs and interpret results
- Experience in patient care, including assisting with procedures and treatments
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
