The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing medical administrative support and patient care within our facility, which operates as Ambulatory surgery center. This position requires a strong understanding of medical systems, physiology, and hospital medicine, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment. Responsibilities Provide medical administrative support by managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a high standard of care. Perform vital sign checks and document patient histories accurately. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure optimal patient care in both clinic settings and hospital environments. Support the team in managing the flow of patients through the clinic or hospital, ensuring timely service delivery. Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential for effective communication with healthcare professionals. Familiarity with working in Ambulatory surgery Centers is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
