We are seeking a responsible, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. Our practice is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is personable, hardworking, and maintains a positive attitude, with a genuine passion for helping patients. The Medical Assistant will work closely with patients and healthcare providers in a fast-paced medical office environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
Responsibilities:
Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, medications and other medical procedures. Answering phones and scheduling appointments. Taking patient histories. Ordering and stocking medications, supplies and diagnostic testing supplies. Preparing patient charts for provider meetings. Communicating with patients and providers regarding results of tests and procedures. Documenting all activities in patient records according to company policies and procedures.
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position requires excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, providers, and other staff members. Strong organizational skills are necessary to maintain stock inventory, maintain medical records and perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and billing. Familiarity with medical software applications (Excel, Word) is required for this position.
