  • Part-time Benefits/Perks Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you will provide support to our medical office, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and summarizing various medical records and reports, checking for report accuracy, and grammar. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to details is very important. This position is Part

Responsibilities:
Reviewing all prior medical records, extracting pertinent information, and composing a summary of same. Ensuring the content, format, and professional appearance of the medical summaries are of the highest quality and in compliance with company standards. Ensuring clear, concise, medical summaries with an ability to work from templates where requested. Ensuring that all instructions and specifications have been followed and that all categories have been addressed. Identifying any inconsistencies within the medical reports and making indication of same as needed. Maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPPA regulations. Performing general administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
K nowledge of Orthopaedic terminology is a must! High school diploma/GED required, Associate's degree or administrative training is preferred Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position Familiarity with standard office equipment such as computers, printers and fax machines Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
