Medical Assistant/Scrub Tech

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant/Scrub Tech to join our healthcare team. This position requires a strong understanding of medical protocols, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. On days when surgeon consults with patients you will be assisting in follow ups, post ops, and setting up fillers along with guiding patients through pre-operative appointments where you will be responsible for taking photos, reviewing medications, sending medications electronically in a timely manner and performing blood draws. Responsibilities Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment. Pre and Post photography of surgical patients Phlebotomy skills will be utilized to assist with preoperative surgical patients. Circulate with surgeon during clinic days to follow up on patients/set up fillers. Assist surgeon and other medical staff during surgical procedures. Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols. Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures. Ensure proper medication administration as directed by the surgical team. Conduct thorough cleaning and sterilization of instruments post-surgery. Document procedures and maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in inpatient and urgent care settings. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist effectively in surgeries. Flexible schedule. Organization is a must. Familiarity with emergency medicine practices and protocols. Experience in inpatient care, including understanding coding for medical procedures. Ability to administer medications accurately under supervision. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff. Ability to work efficiently in urgent care situations while maintaining composure under pressure. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge in Aesthetics. Bilingual.
