Description:
St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is hiring Medical Assistants for their provider offices. These are per diem, as needed positions, with a 2-3 day minimum requirement each week. The rate is $20 + 10% travel pay. If you are hired as a non-certified MA, within 90 days you would be required to sit for the National Certification Exam for Medical Assistants (paid for by St. Peter's) and once you pass the exam, your rate will increase to $21/hr plus 10% for travel pay. Please note that if you are hired there will be a virtual review course for this exam during clinical orientation, and MA's are expected to spend at least 2 hours per week until they are ready to sit for the certification exam. MA's will be allowed a maximum of 3 CCMA exam attempts and must be certified within six months of date of hire. Medical assistants who are unsuccessful on their third exam attempt, or who remain uncertified by six months from date of hire will have 30 days to find another position in a non-medical assistant role within the organization. Full day availability for training for roughly the first 5 days of hire. Reliable transportation is required to travel to Clifton Park, Albany, Troy and other surrounding towns. Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings. By finding common ground and embracing our differences, we grow stronger together and deliver more compassionate, person-centered care. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
