Job Description
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a
- Medical Assistant
- in •Bethpage, NY•!
Type:
- Two-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Pay:
- $20.00 to $24.00 an hour

- Responsibilities of the
Medical Assistant:
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and assisting with medical tests.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records, including recording patient information, test results, and treatment plans.
- Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, billing managing patient data.
- Sterilize medical instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and restock as necessary.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Qualifications for the
Medical Assistant:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Certification from an accredited program
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
