08:30 AM-01:00 PM About the Role We are a busy Family practice in Highland Falls seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant background to join our team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and assisting with patient intake. Perform routine clinical tasks including phlebotomy/blood draw as directed by the physician. Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms per infection control standards. Follow up with patients regarding test results and treatment plan instructions. Assist front-desk and reception staff with scheduling and patient flow as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements Required:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant . Proficient in taking vital signs. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred:
Phlebotomy/blood draw experience. Experience with EHR/EMR systems. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) credential preferred but not required How to
