Job Description

We are a busy and established surgical center in need of a medical assistant.
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS
Duties & Responsibilities include: •Spanish speaking a plus•The medical assistant is required to have a flexible schedule The medical assistant is required to Answer calls in timely manner, take messages The medical assistant is required to Check-in/out each patient upon arrival and departure for their appointment The medical assistant is required to Administer check in/out forms, explain paperwork/policies, as needed The medical assistant is required to Print and distribute schedules for next day/prep charts The medical assistant is required to Maintaining a clean, tidy and orderly reception area The medical assistant is required to assist where needed
Qualifications:
Full Time Position Aware of HIPAA laws General knowledge of medical documents Bilingual is a plus
Desired Skills and Experience:
2+ years of related experience in the medical field Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in
Excel Key Competencies:
Must be analytical and self-motivated Punctuality and reliability. Verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person Professional personal presentation. Organizing, planning and multi-tasking. Attention to detail. Strong problem solver Should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the office

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
