Medical Assistant/Receptionist

Our General/Family medical practice is expanding and is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant and a Medical Receptionist. Our well-organized practice offers an excellent working environment with amazing providers and staff. We are searching for someone who will be courteous and friendly to our patients. We are ready for immediate hire. 2 shifts available : Mon- Friday 8:30am to 2:30 pm OR 1:00pm to 7:00 pm AND Every other Saturday 8:30am to 2:00pm

MA Duties:

• Escort patients to the exam room
• Perform vitals and start note for provider
• Excellent at venipuncture
• Perform EKG, Spirometry, Urinalysis
• Prepare blood for lab pick-up
• Comfortable with EMR and heavy computer use
• Able to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients a plus

Reception Duties:

Check-in / Check-out Patients Schedule Appointments Answer inbound phone calls Collect payments (via cash/check and credit cards) Call patients for appointment reminders Balance cash drawer, close credit card machine Check patient insurance eligibility

Pay:

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
