Job Description

We are a busy gastroenterology office seeking dedicated and motivated Certified Medical Assistants to join our team. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and a team player. Strong computer skills and proficiency in office software is a must. Travel to each of our two locations is required. This role is essential to providing excellent patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm We are closed on weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Room patients and obtain vital signs Gather medical and surgical history from patients Update electronical medical records accurately and efficiently Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquires Process electronic faxes and manage incoming documentation Adherence to privacy and HIPAA regulations to protect confidentiality and sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Must be dependable and committed to providing high-quality patient care Prior experience in a medical office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel to both office locations (Liverpool, East Syracuse) Must work effectively as part of a team Must be able to take a manual blood pressure We offer a collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
